A & P Commission
The Advertising and Promotion Commission is the governing body of Visit Bentonville.
The A&P Commission is made up of seven commissioners: two from the hotel industry, two from the restaurant industry, two city council members, and one at large position. Commissioners must live in Bentonville, be an eligible voter in Bentonville, and meet additional qualifications for the specific position i.e. hotelier, restaurateur, city council member. All commissioners must be approved by the City Council. The A&P Commission meets on the fourth Thursday of each month to review financial reports (including tax collections and delinquent accounts), Visit Bentonville operations, and tourism funding requests when applicable.

*City Council representatives are appointed by the Mayor and may serve indefinitely unless removed from the commission for failure to execute duties or from the City Council in an election.
